The KHG sees itself as an ecumenical, intercultural place of encounter. They want to provide space for spiritual and personal topics and offer educational programs as well as various opportunities to get involved. It is also known for its legendary Werewolf evenings and for starting the day together early on Monday mornings.
The Buddhist Community Salzburg with its meditation center offers a place of peace, contemplation and study. It sees itself as a place of practice, open to all interested parties. Buddhist groups practicing different paths of practice can be found here under one roof, and additional events are also held regularly.
A central aim of the Islamic Religious Community is to be a reliable point of contact for Muslims in Austria, supporting them in preserving their Muslim identity, while at the same time seeing themselves positively anchored in Austrian democratic and pluralistic society, actively and courageously tackling the challenges of the present and future.
The Jewish Community of Salzburg sees itself not only as a central contact point and representative of all Jews in the province, but also for those who are interested in Jewish culture or religion for the first time or several times. In this way, they want to make a lasting contribution to understanding and respectful coexistence between different religious communities and cultures in the state.
There are many different churches and parishes in Salzburg that offer a church service on Sundays. In the following link you will find a small list of Christian church services in Salzburg. For early risers, there are church services in the morning or in the morning. There are also evening services for those who prefer to go to bed late but still don’t want to sleep through the service.

ICF Salzburg is an interdenominational free church on a biblical basis, which arose from the dream of making the church dynamic, relevant and contemporary for people. It is part of the Pentecostal movement.
The name “Church among the People” (KUM) is derived from our vision, as we want to live and share our faith in community with others. It defines itself as a Protestant free church.
The UMC is a Protestant church and emphasizes the combination of social commitment (love for one’s neighbour) and personal piety (love for God).
The Baptist Church is an Anabaptist free church. They offer a German-language service at 9:30 am and a Farsi-language service at 11:30 am.
